Best NY style in KC area for sure. They have high quality ingredients and flavors to match. Their prices are fair for what you receive. The vodka pie is hard to beat, which is packed full of layers of flavor. Staff are always nice and service is top notch. They have an outdoor picnic table which is great for when you bring your dogs. Overall they have amazing pizza which should be given a try at least once.

I was so excited to see a pizza place open up in our neighborhood. We usually have to drive out pretty far for a decent slice that isn’t from a chain. We’ve ordered twice from NE Pizza now. The first time, I grabbed a whole cheese pizza for the kids and we took it to a park. It fed five of us easy. (Note: two of the five people were under age 5, and those two only ate 1/2 to 1 slice each. One pizza could otherwise comfortably feed about 3-4 adults.) I normally hate red sauces, I always get white sauce on my pizzas, but I love their red sauce so much, probably better than the garlic pizza we got for dine-in on another occasion. That is not to say their white pizza was bad because it’s not. I just preferred the classic cheese. The white pizza was chewy and flavorful. They have lemon in there which gives it a light, refreshing citrus twist. The flavors worked. They gave us extra lemon slices to squeeze over the pizza, too. We recently had similarly cooked pizza at a food truck (by a business unrelated to NE Pizza), and what I appreciate about NE Pizza in comparison to them is that Northeast takes the time to sweep out their ovens between baking pies so you don’t get burnt cornmeal stuck to the bottom of your food. The other establishment didn’t do that, putting Northeast ahead of their similar competitors in terms of quality and taste. TIPS FOR ORDERING: order ahead, especially if you want your food to go. There was a half hour wait for our white pizza when we dined in, and they were busting out pizzas as fast as they could. These are made FRESH to order. Like they’re tossing handmade dough and slapping on the fixings right there at the counter, and there is only so much oven space. Therefore, if you do not want to wait in the restaurant, order at least 30 minutes ahead of the time you want to pick it up, longer on weekends and during sporting events (I’m looking at you, football season). I cannot wait to come back. I want to try the pepperoni next. The salads also looks really, really good.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT Pizza and maybe THE BEST Cesar salad I've ever had in a restaurant. Had a chance to try 3 different slices and I would gladly take an entire pie of each with zero complaints. YA, Its A GEM! Fun, retro setup in an underrated part of KC. This place has the goods to be a real flagship for the area. Just Go!

Best pizza ive ever had in my life. Gives that small new york pizza shop vibe and everyone is extremely friendly. Highly highly recommend coming here.

If youre into attention to detail and premium ingredients, this is your spot. The crust is where it's at, nice and crispy for a clean snap of a bite while toppings are toasted to perfection. Hot honey is worth a try, for sure. By the slice is good and re-baked and not kept in a warmer so it maintains its crisp. Got our food fast on a busy Saturday while they were also hosting a party. Timely service with a smile.

Really nice find in a strange neighborhood/location. Super friendly service and good pizza, the crust was a bit too crunchy for me and overall I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get, but I still liked it. The pepperoni, hot honey and jalapeno slice was very flavorful, a bit greasy and like I mentioned before, a little on the crunchy side. So was the pepperoni slice, left the outside crust for the birds. The Italian salad was excellent, but for $7 I was expecting a little bigger salad for this type of locale. I definitely would go again though.
